Boulder Interior Design
Luxury interior design for Boulder and the foothills.
Blur offers full-service interior design in Boulder, Colorado, for custom homes and substantial renovations. Mountain roots meet a metropolitan sensibility in spaces shaped by light, material, art, and the way you live. Working alongside your architect and builder, we guide the interiors from early planning through furnishings and final installation.
DESIGNED ALONGSIDE THE ARCHITECTURE
In Boulder, light, views, and the surrounding landscape influence how a home takes shape. We work with your architect early, considering layout, proportion, and materials together so the interiors feel connected to the building and its setting.
Rebecca Rhodes brings a decade of experience working within architecture firms. That background informs Blur’s collaboration with architects and builders, including Boulder-based Sopher Sparn Architects on the Fox Ridge Ranch renovation.

AREAS WE SERVE
Blur designs luxury residences in Boulder and throughout the Colorado Front Range, including Niwot, Longmont, and the foothills communities. For homes in Denver proper, see our Denver page; for the high country, see our Colorado mountain towns page.
Do you design homes in Boulder?
Yes. Blur designs luxury residences in Boulder and across the Front Range, and collaborates with Boulder-based architecture firms, including Sopher Sparn Architects. Our work is built on full-scale Colorado residential projects and on fluent coordination with local architects and builders.
How early should an interior designer join a Boulder home project?
As early as possible, ideally during architectural design. Boulder homes are shaped by site, light, and view, and those decisions are best made with the architect rather than retrofitted later. Early involvement is where interior design earns its value.
What does luxury interior design cost in Boulder?
Every home is different, so we don't quote a figure before we understand your project. Early in our process, a step we call Groundwork translates your vision into a real scope and, alongside a trusted builder, an honest read on cost direction while it can still shape decisions. You move forward with clarity, not a guess.
Do you work with our architect?
Always. We work as a partner to your architect, not in competition. Becca spent a decade inside architecture firms and collaborates with practices including Boulder's Sopher Sparn Architects, so the collaboration is fluent from the first drawing.
