Colorado Mountain Interior Design
Luxury interiors for life in the mountains.
Blur offers full-service interior design for custom homes and substantial renovations across Colorado’s mountain communities. With mountain roots and a metropolitan sensibility, we create residences shaped by their setting and the people who live in them. Our Denver-based studio works alongside your architect and builder from early planning through final installation.
Mountain Living, Considered
A mountain home needs to accommodate changing seasons, visiting friends, outdoor equipment, and time spent gathering indoors. We consider these practical needs alongside views, natural light, and the proportions of each room. Materials, lighting, and furnishings bring comfort and character to the home throughout the year.
Rebecca Rhodes brings more than fifteen years of experience, including a decade working within architecture firms. Early collaboration allows us to consider interior layouts, lighting, custom millwork, and furnishings while the architecture is taking shape.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you design both primary residences and mountain second homes?
Yes. We work on custom residences and substantial renovations, whether the home is used year-round or throughout the seasons. The design begins with how you intend to live there.
When should we hire an interior designer for a mountain home?
Ideally during architectural planning. Bringing the interior designer into the team early allows room layouts, lighting, finishes, custom details, and furnishings to be considered together.
Can you work with our architect and builder?
Yes. We collaborate with your existing team, prepare interior design documentation, and remain involved during construction to help carry the design through.
How do you manage furnishings for a mountain property?
We source and specify furnishings, manage procurement, and coordinate receiving, delivery, installation, and styling. Access, storage, lead times, and the construction schedule are considered when planning installation.
